We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Research Associate 1/2 to join our team. At OneCyte, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing biotechnology through commercial cell line development contract campaigns, cutting-edge R&D efforts, and the development of state-of-the-art technologies. How you will be contributing to building OneCyte
- Support commercial cell line development contract campaigns and single-cell assay development to enable drug discovery and development.
- Perform commercial projects adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Provide crucial hands-on support to internal R&D efforts, including development of novel and customized single-cell assays, analytics, and more.
- Manufacture microfluidic devices in-house.
- Conduct laboratory work and assist in laboratory operations.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clear communication of scientific findings across interdisciplinary teams.
Required qualifications and experiences
- BS with 2-4 years of industry experience in Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other biotechnology related fields.
- Experience in standard and cutting-edge cell and molecular biology techniques, including cell culture and/or assay development.
- Experience working in cell line development or other rigorous industry lab settings.
- Track record of collaborative work.
Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Cell-line-development and commercial expression systems for antibody production in CHO or other host cells
- Antibody development
- Cell line development analytics
- Assay development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Action-oriented, team player, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and writing.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, innovative environment.
- Well-organized and strong attention to detail with an ability to deal with competing priorities towards maximizing value.
